Author of the Windrusher Adventures
Windrusher is celebrating an anniversary of sorts. Ten years ago he came to life in my first adventure/fantasy novel titled, appropriately enough, Windrusher. The book won several awards and went through four printings. After regaining the rights to all of the Windrusher books, I’ve tweaked and revised the first book without altering the exciting story readers loved. The newly-revised Windrusher is now available as a trade paperback, as well as a Kindle ebook. Order the newly revised paperback from Amazon.com, or click here to order the Kindle ebook. Also watch for a revised Windrusher and the Cave of Tho-hoth coming soon.
For the past seven years, I’ve taught a full day workshop titled “Novel in a Day.” Many people suggested that I should put these craft lessons into booklet form to make the information more widely available. I’ve finally decided to to do just that, and a series of “Crafty Writer’s Guides” are in the works. The first two are now available from Amazon.com as Kindle ebooks for only $1.99 each. Here’s the link to the first one, The Crafty Writer’s Guide to Strong Beginnings, Effective Middles, & Exciting Endings. The second booklet is titled, The Crafty Writer’s Guide to Writing Compelling Scenes — Then Revising Them.
The first in the Quint Mitchell Mystery Series, written under the pen name Parker Francis, is available as a Kindle download and trade paperback. The second Quint Mitchell Mystery, Bring Down the Furies, is also available. Visit the Parker Francis website to keep up with all the latest Quint Mitchell adventures, including the Quint short story, Blue Crabs at Midnight and the short story collection, Ghostly Whispers, Secret Voices.
Windrusher and the Trail of Fire
“Windrusher and the Trail of Fire cracks along at the speed of a bullet.”
— Lee Killough, author of The Leopard’s Daughter
Caught in a web of danger and deceit, Windrusher is abducted and imprisoned with three other celebrity cats thousands of miles from home. While his family and a private investigator search for him, Windrusher must overcome his deepest fears to save his own life and those who love him.
Windrusher — The Legend Began Here!
“Touching, mystical, completely engrossing. Put this on your bookshelf next to Call of the Wild and Black Beauty. Windrusher’s great adventure belongs with the animal classics.”
— Linda Stewart, Author of the Sam the Cat Mystery series
